Ray Guns from repurposed artifacts
So who was Edgar Dean?
In Sherwood Ohio on June 22 in 1875 there occurred what is possibly the only known Zombie outbreak in American history. To date no evidence has been uncovered to pinpoint the origin of the outbreak however it has been speculated that Bernard Jessup the town butcher may have been the cause having been bitten by an infected rat. The outbreak however was brought to an abrupt end by inventor and local Dentist Edgar Dean who used a porotype Cobalt Ray Gun of his own design to vaporize the only three infected towns people - Paula Burton a school teacher, Josh Howard, the town black smith and Bernard Jessup, the local butcher. Legend has it that Edger Dean was secretly engaged to Paula Burton at the time of the outbreak and was so heartbroken over the incident that he destroyed the gun, refused to ever speak again, and spent the rest of his life at Ridge View sanitarium until his death in 1891. This reproduction of Deans prototype Ray Gun was made from the partial drawings found hidden in the floor boards of Deans old dental office in 2016 by historian and treasure hunter Porter Jacks.
