Notes of interest:
Though the war, did not officially begin until the summer of 2079. The Incident of Summerfield is however widely considered by scholars to be the true beginning of the ten years war. The incident of Summerfield was believed to have been started by Captain Caleb H Summerfield USAC who fired on a group of Reptilian soldiers -”peace keepers” who were sitting in a park near the Reptilian separation area in the town of Modena Italy. Captain Summerfield claimed that the Reptilian soldiers where intoxicated and that one soldiers raised its weapon and pointed at him. He claims that he heard the unmistakable sound of a Reptilian SS25k Laser rifle ramping up and ordered the Reptilian soldier to put down its weapon. The Reptilian soldier kept the riffle leveled at him and made no attempt to lower it. He then claims the two other Reptilian soldiers raised their rifles. Summerfield said he reacted as he was trained to do and engaged the first Reptile wounding him in the shoulder. He claims the other Reptilian soldiers quickly dismantled their weapons and began to move backward while cackling to a gathering crowd of Reptilian civilians who he claims began to advance on him. Summerfield moved to his vehicle and departed the area. In the next four months all hell broke loose and on June 13th, 2079, The Reptilian Faction began to arrive by ship and via portals around the globe thus starting the ten years war. This Plate (1) is of the wounded soldier that was shot by Summerfield. It is wildly accepted by scholars that the Ten Years War was inevitable, and that Summerfield’s actions were purposely provoked by the Reptiles to induce an inevitable conflict. As a result of this plate, I was further assigned to document and sketch records of wounded soldiers from both sides of the conflict during the war, in hopes of gaining more knowledge of Reptilian, Grey, and hybrid anatomy.
